We have formulated several different versions of mission statement, the most complete is probably located at the Grange Web Site Mission Statement . This is fine as far as it goes, but is so general that is may not always be useful. Our discussion here is to see if we can make our statement a bit sharper and more specific, or perhaps supplement it with some additional material.

A bit of the statement mentions economic issues. I think we should expand this and make it more specific.

The "Support Local Arigricultrual Businesses" page is an attempt to support the rural economy through publicity and supplying information. There are other ways we might do similiar things, should we assume they are with in the scope?

• Provide forum for rural businesses to present their wares.
• Provide actual locations for sale of items produced by local businesses.
